Its caused by a process of longshore drift (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Longshore_drift)
On this famous spit off Mooloolaba,
there lies a popular stretch of restaurants serving great Fish&Chips and fresh seafood
Relaxing stroll on the beach after lunch....
