Gold Coast is famous for its theme parks - Movie World, Dream World, Sea World, blablabla... Too many to count.
For a start, I got myself a combined-park pass, for only AUD75
First stop: MOVIE World
The main entrance. Apart from their own Aussie flag, you can find China, Japan, Korea and Singapore's flag at the entrance. This just goes to show how many Singaporeans patronize them yearly.

The main street...
Movie world features various characters from DC comics,
such as Superman...
(P.S. This Superman "Escape" ride is prob the most thrilling one at the moment)
& Batman...
Green Lantern...
Other cartoons include Scooby Doo...
Ice Age...
and others...
Most of the rides there were roller coaster-based thrill rides. It lacks variety, IMO.
My favorite stunt driver show
Smiling faces - conquered all the rides without puking... haha.
A panoramic pic of Brisbane city skyline.
Photo taken from South Bank Parkands, located at the southern side of Brisbane River (in pic).
The parklands consist of a unique mixture of rainforest, water, grassed areas and plazas. You can also find this man-made beach/pool. It is barely 50cm deep, but has a lifeguard on duty. LOL
Checking out the city centre is a must:

This is the old Treasury building, now converted into a hotel/restaurant/casino.
