Outback down South

Spring has began...
I took a drive down south to check out the neighborhood..

The plants are starting to grow at this winery...

There is even a huge MAXIMUM SECURITY prison near where i live:

Of course, this is Australia. There will always be the classic KANGAROO

Miami Bakehouse

Probably the best pie I have tasted. Miami Bakehouse has won numerous awards for their pies.

OUTSIDE the shop, they advertise it on their door.


INSIDE the shop, they decorate the walls with certificates and plaques.




There are less than 20 different flavors

Sounds like a formula for diahorrea. And nope, i wasn't daring enough to try out this drink today. Will give it a pass...

Went to the supermarket and bought vegetables, tofu, bacon, crabstick, fish fillet, pork/chicken/beef slices, fishballs, scallops..... etc etc..


Taste just as good as what I would have gotten in a chinese restaurant : )

Diagon Alley in perth

This image above was taken from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002).

The image below is a pic taken in a random alley in London.
London alleyways like this were the inspiration for Diagon Alley, where Harry Potter shopped for his wizardary school supplies.


Here in Perth, there is a similar London-themed alley called Ye London Court (off Murray St). It immediately reminded me of the show.
